Meditation is often misunderstood. Many people believe they have to empty the mind, stop their thoughts or sit perfectly still for long periods of time. In reality, meditation is much simpler than that.
This 2½-hour Private Meditation Workshop has been designed to remove the mystery surrounding meditation and introduce it in a practical, easy-to-understand way. Whether you've never meditated before or have tried it without success, you'll discover techniques that are simple, enjoyable and easy to continue at home.
Together we'll explore what meditation really is, why it has been practised for thousands of years and how it can become a valuable tool for everyday life. You'll learn how thoughts, emotions and awareness influence the mind, and how meditation can help create greater balance, clarity and inner peace.
The workshop begins with gentle yoga movements and breath awareness to prepare both the body and the mind. Once the body is relaxed and comfortable, you'll be guided through a variety of meditation techniques, allowing you to experience different approaches and discover what works best for you.
Throughout the workshop there will be opportunities to ask questions, share experiences and develop a practical understanding of meditation without pressure or expectation. Rather than simply telling you to meditate, the workshop helps you understand the process so you leave with the confidence to continue practising in your own way.
The workshop concludes with a deeply rejuvenating guided relaxation, allowing the body and mind to completely unwind before returning to everyday life feeling calmer, lighter and more centred.
