Carefully developed from over two decades of teaching, every Gay Men's Yoga Signature Workshop combines personalised guidance, practical experience and traditional yoga to help you discover what becomes possible when your body is given the time, guidance and opportunity to open.

Discover what your body is truly capable of in this 2½-hour Private Yoga Workshop, available exclusively at Gay Men's Yoga in Collingwood, Melbourne. Combining deep assisted stretching, one-to-one yoga tuition, a guided yoga practice and a one-hour Yoga Massage, this Signature Workshop offers a unique opportunity to experience yoga in a way that simply isn't possible during a regular yoga class.

The workshop begins with 40 minutes of deep assisted stretching, allowing the body to release tension, improve flexibility and prepare for the yoga postures ahead. Once the body has opened, you'll spend 30 minutes exploring a selection of classic yoga postures, including Headstand, Chakrasana (Bridge Pose) and a variety of their traditional variations. Every posture is adapted to suit your body, with personalised guidance and gentle hands-on assistance to help you safely experience postures that may once have seemed impossible.

Many men believe poses such as Headstand or Chakrasana are simply beyond them. In reality, most postures become far more achievable when the body is prepared properly and the right techniques are used. Time, patience and good instruction often make a much bigger difference than strength or flexibility alone.

Working one-to-one gives you the freedom to ask questions, explore different approaches and experience yoga without feeling rushed. Throughout the workshop you'll learn simple techniques that make challenging postures safer, more comfortable and far more achievable than most people expect.

The workshop also includes a 20-minute guided yoga practice, allowing you to experience the postures as part of a flowing sequence before finishing with a one-hour Yoga Massage. The massage allows the body to completely relax and absorb everything you've explored throughout the workshop, leaving you feeling lighter, more open and deeply relaxed.
